Controller for this conference-reporting website is the TAP-DCE coordinating institution (Technische Universität Dresden / ZLSB), unless another controller is named in theImpressum.

2. What this site does not do

• No first-party tracking or analytics cookies
• No advertising cookies
• No Google Analytics / Matomo / similar tools in the current build

3. Data processed when you visit

When you open this website, the hosting provider processes technical connection data that are typically logged for security and delivery (e.g. IP address, time, requested URL, user agent). Retention and details depend on the hosting contract — document the concrete host here before go-live.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation of the website).

4. Local storage (not a cookie)

The privacy notice banner stores a simple flag in your browser’slocalStorage(tap-dce-privacy-notice) so the banner is not shown again. This is not used for tracking.

5. Third-party content

Instagram embeds (Meta)

Instagram posts/reels are loaded only when you expand a card. Then Instagram’s embed script and content are requested from Meta domains. Meta may process personal data and set its own cookies according to Instagram/Meta policies. We do not control that processing.

OpenStreetMap / Leaflet maps

Map cards load map tiles from OpenStreetMap tile servers. Your IP address is transmitted to those servers for the tile request. No Google Maps is used.

Leaflet CSS (unpkg CDN)

Leaflet stylesheet may be loaded from a CDN. The CDN provider can see the request (IP / technical data).
